A Fantastic Hotel. Every aspect was a pleasure with the cherry on top being the absolutely wonderful staff at the delicious breakfast.

"An amazing hotel in the centre of Rome"

A classy clean and practicable hotel in the centre of Rome. The real surprise is the guest during rooms on the first floor. A truly luxurious place to enjoy.

"It is all about people!"

People will always travel to Rome; there is simply so much to see and enjoy. And since tourists will come anyway, Roman hotels are not among the best and their staff don't have a reputation of being very polite or friendly. Well, the family owned and run Napoleon is very much different. Everybody, from the owner to the gentleman who cleans the rooms, are genuinely friendly in the best Italian manner. Regardless whether you need help, information, or it is just a "good morning" with a smile. The room was not perfect but nothing that could influence our good mood and make problems with our stay. For instance, the choice of TV channels is poor but did I really go to Rome to watch TV? The location is a bit controversial. It is quite central, the neighborhood could be nicer but at the same time, there are several magnificent restaurants around. We made a mistake and honoured a recommendation of our friends and traveled across the half of the city to dine in a good restaurant, just to realise that at least three of them, next door were significantly better. The breakfast is average (or perhaps better than average, having in mind that breakfast is not the most important meal of Italian cuisine). But again, there was fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccino, sweet and savory, hot and cold food, good for a day start. Hotel has a beautiful common room, photo attached, a bar and a small restaurant. Once we dined there and the food was very tasty. Internet is very good. Hotel is just next to metro station, but metro is not the best way of traveling Rome, especially if three major stations are closed as it was the case when we were there. The hotel is warmly recommended. It is a comfortable and friendly place.
